Venezia FC is getting serious and accelerating its growth project with a 100 million euro investment. The arancioneroverde company has announced the entry of new investors led by Tim Leiweke and his daughter Francesca Bodie, who will be the new president of the club. The goal is clear: to transform Venezia FC into a fixed presence in Serie A. New president Bodie has extensive international experience in sports management and the realization of large infrastructure projects. The lagunare club aims to consolidate itself stably in Serie A thanks to this investment. Canadian rapper Drake played a key role in the negotiations, putting Bodie and Leiweke in contact with the club. Filippo Antonelli has been confirmed as general manager of the sports area. The team and staff will be the protagonists of a unique event to celebrate the promotion to A: a water procession in the heart of the lagoon. The departure is scheduled from piazzale Roma and will arrive in piazza San Marco. The new 18,500-seat stadium under construction in the Bosco dello Sport area will be inaugurated in January 2028. Coach Stroppa stated that the team wants to secure first place in the standings in tomorrow evening's home game against Palermo.
